TOP-IX (Torino Piemonte Internet Exchange) is bringing a new exhibition of K-Way Gallery from Turin to Berlin. By exhibiting legendary personal computers and the related documentation, the exhibition tells the story of the Computing Revolution which took place during the seventies and eighties. The constant miniaturization of components combined with the imagination and the passion of some young people was driving this movement. It turned out not only into a technological revolution but also a cultural one, totally modifying the way people work, communicate and live. As a highlight of the collection you can see a unique, original Apple-1 computer from 1976, the “Holy Grail” of modern informatics.
